Citizens of the Universe is a system of hardware and software that will create a virtual three-dimensional environment for building and exploration via personal computer and the internet.

At the heart of Citizens of the Universe will be an easy-to-use, real-time interface used to select a galaxy, planet and enviroment and then assemble parts or "creation elements". The creation elements will vary greatly in style, from basic shapes like blocks and spheres to whimsical and cartoon-like to natural and organic-looking. New collections of creation elements by talented and even famous artists will keep the possibilities fresh and varied as well as providing ongoing revenue and excitement. In the future users will even be able to sculpt their own collections to use and share with Digital Clay*.

When the Citizens of the Universe user creates his/her virtual worlds they can be shared via the internet or kept private as they choose. All details about the world are created by the imagination of the user. These include details of the world itself; places in time and space, history, language etc. or attributes of the creatures; size, habits, personality, relationships to other creatures and more. In addition to building these virtual worlds the user can print trading cards, richly illustrated storybooks and pictures to hang on the fridge. The possibilities for arranging and putting the creation elements together are infinite so the user is utterly without hindrance and limitation.
